Earth Day Projects

Last Friday was Earth Day!  To celebrate the day, we talked about different ways we can help protect and clean up the earth.  We talked about the three R's:  reduce, reuse, and recycle.  To prove their point, the students worked hard on projects at home.  They made something new out of something old.  Check out our creative projects!

Breyanna's scrap paper sun

Alex's soda can wind chime

Dain's shoebox and cracker box catapult
(It really works!  He shot a ball so far it hit the ceiling!)

Hunter's soda can bat

Connor's egg carton planters
(He brought one for all of us to keep!)

Connor's paper-towel-tube-and-chicken-lid bird feeder

Bailey's aluminum can pencil cup

Madelyn's coffee can bank

Ethan's egg carton rock collection holder

Faith's cereal box magazine holder
