Squiggle Writing

Squiggle writing is a center activity this week.  Students take a squiggle and turn it into a picture.  They then write a story inspired by the picture.  This activity stretches our imagination!  Check here for some of the most creative stories!

Once there was a dragon named Henry.  Henry lived in a dark, dark cave in the middle of Camelot.  Someone once was brave enough to go in the cave, with an army of one hundred knights.  When the army came in the cave Henry blew burning hot fire at the army.  The army was never seen again, but Henry became the king of the world.  The end.

I turned my squiggle line into a roller coaster.  Its name is Lightning Loopty Loops.  It has a lot of loopty loops.  It was designed by Dain R.  It is so big that it takes two roller coasters at a time!  Each roller coaster holds eight people.  It goes as fast as lightning.  I love it!
