iPads

CUSD 16 was fortunate to re eve a grant to upgrade our technology in all 3 schools! At the elementary school, we teamed up by hallway and made a technology "wish list.". As a result, we now have 5 iPads at our disposal! We will share these iPads with our third grade friends across the hall, so we will have access to them approximately every other day. To start, we had an iPad tutorial today and learned how to operate our new devices. We also talked about usage and safety. These expectations were established: 1. Treat the iPads carefully. 2. Use only the apps you were told you could use. 3. Stay in one place. 4. Keep the iPad on a flat surface. Students know that if they fail to meet these expectations they will lose the privilege of using iPads. Come back soon to see posts about how we're using our new technology!
